The Executive Director will serve as the primary public facing face and voice of the Organisation. Drawing on personal experience, research and ongoing dialogue with the region and its diaspora, the Executive Director will have a keen sense of how to align the Organisation with the evolving needs of the global Caribbean filmmaking and arts community, while also managing programs that speak to the Caribbean region and its diaspora. On a more practical level, the Executive Director will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of the strategic plan, mission-oriented programs and the general administration of the Organisation. This role involves significant interaction with the Board of Directors, staff, contractors, volunteers, artists, and the community. The Executive Director will also be responsible for fundraising, marketing, and community outreach to ensure the sustainability and growth of the Organization.

❋ Caribbean Roots & Community
A deep, living connection to the Caribbean — through heritage, parentage, or lived experience — paired with an ongoing engagement with Caribbean arts communities, past and present.
❋ Cultural & Political Fluency
Strong familiarity with the region's history across race, spirituality, and politics, including an awareness of the resistance and decolonial movements that have shaped it.
❋ Leadership & Industry Knowledge
Proven experience leading and managing teams with empathy and intention, alongside a solid understanding of the international film landscape. Minimum _ years of experience
❋ Logistics & Language
Eligibility to work in the USA, comfort working remotely with travel to the US, Caribbean, and beyond, and English proficiency plus at least one additional Caribbean language (including creoles and patois).

Remuneration And Conditions Of Employment:
This role is year-round and paid on a contract basis
Salary range: $70,000-$90,000 annualized
